︎︎︎ Zine Idea - The World Is A Camera

Most people today tend to capture the world surrounding them through photographic equipment, using professional cameras or just their smartphones. Photography is potentially in everyone’s pockets today, and this affected the way people observe the world.

But is photography the only way we have to document reality and track our thoughts? Can a sketchbook be considered a valid alternative for an image making process? How could using both a camera and a sketchbook benefit us and give us a diverse insight of our visual and observational research?

The purpose of this project is to analyse the role of these two powerful ways to reproduce our reality, investigating their causes, the analogies and the differences between them and making hypothesis on their future legacy.
